Connectivity Point is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse / Deployment Technician to support our Deployment division at our corporate office in Maine. This role is responsible for ensuring customer and company hardware, materials, and equipment are properly ordered, received, inventoried, tracked, staged, and distributed to field technicians in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, inventory management experience, and the ability to work closely with customers and internal teams to support successful project deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customer personnel to obtain information, equipment, and materials required for project execution.
- Stage customer-provided hardware and equipment for deployment and pickup by field technicians.
- Manage customer inventory levels, identify shortages, and communicate replenishment needs to customers and project teams.
- Receive, inventory, store, and track hardware returned by field technicians or supplied by customers.
- Accurately enter serial numbers, asset information, and inventory data into customer databases and internal tracking systems.
- Configure and image hardware according to customer specifications and established procedures.
- Provide advanced support to field deployment technicians when troubleshooting hardware or inventory-related issues.
- Maintain an organized warehouse environment while ensuring inventory accuracy and accountability.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and material distribution activities as needed.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures while handling equipment and materials.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory management, or logistics experience, preferably within the telecommunications, IT, construction, or technology industries.
- Experience working with inventory tracking systems and asset management processes.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and maintain accurate records.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience staging, imaging, or configuring network, telecommunications, or IT hardware.
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment, structured cabling, networking devices, or deployment projects.
- Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience is a plus.
